At Vortex Adventures, we believe an e-bike should be built for the way people actually ride in South Africa.

Our bikes are designed and assembled locally by Wow e-Bikes in Paternoster on the West Coast, with South African conditions in mind. From coastal paths and farm roads to longer trail rides, our bikes are built to be practical, capable and dependable.

Depending on the model, terrain, rider and level of pedal assistance, our bikes offer a typical range of 80–120 km on a single charge. Our 29er Trail Bike takes things even further, with a range of over 200 km under suitable riding conditions.

Plan an adventure

Charging is simple too. All of our bikes can be charged from a standard household electrical outlet, meaning you don’t need specialised charging equipment or infrastructure.

We also believe that buying an e-bike shouldn’t mean being left stranded after the sale. That’s why all our bikes come with a full warranty, backed by a comprehensive range of replacement parts and spares to keep your bike on the road for years to come.

And because we believe great bikes shouldn’t be limited by geography, we can deliver anywhere in South Africa.
